The Box Lunch Revue:

The free concert series kicks off Thursday, May 1. Shows will be 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays through August in Cherry Lane -- behind Central Market. In the event of rain, most performances will be moved indoors to nearby Central Market House, and updates will be shared via social media. Shank's Mare's front porch is the stage for the summer music series. This year the outdoor outfitters, 2092 Long Level Road, Lower Windsor Township, are adding more Friday Nite Unwinds to the schedule. Shows run 6 to 9 p.m. by the river. Kids, dogs, chairs, blankets, coolers and BYOB welcome. Shank's Mare's Lock 2 Café will feature dinner specials for each concert.

The gardens are at 3535 Jarrettsville Pike, Monkton, Md. Concert admission includes visiting the gardens. Cost is $7 for members, $15 for adults, $13 for seniors and students and $5 for kids 12 and younger. Picnics, blankets and chairs are welcome. Leave the pets, alcohol and athletic equipment at home. Refreshments and drinks are available for purchase. If concerts are cancelled due to weather, there will be a posting on the website.

Market Square Concerts presents Summermusic 2014:

The lineup will feature three concerts of chamber music in the Harrisburg area. Every program will offer insight into the creative process of composers including, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and Schumann. Summermusic will feature musicians from the U.S., Russia, Canada, Taiwan and Australia.Tickets are $35 for adults, $25 for seniors, $5 for college students and free for school students. Adults accompanying students can buy tickets for $10.
