Feb 14, 2008 — It's long been a mission of mine to order hog maw on the menu of a local restaurant, and it's never worked out. Hog maw requires hand-stuffing a pig stomach with loose sausage, diced potatoes, cabbage and spices and slow cooking for three to four hours.   more

Jan 31, 2008 — Three years ago, I was asked to write the prototype for this column. Roughly 80 restaurants later, I am still eating and discovering new restaurants. A lot of readers have expressed concerns or asked questions about how I delve into loads of french fries, countless turkey subs and a few loaded hot dogs without weighing 300 pounds. The secret, which isn't really a secret, is exercising and balancing high-calorie meals with other healthy meal choices. Looking back over the past three years, I've eaten at a lot of restaurants.   more
