York Little Theatre recognized outstanding work in its Children's Series during the annual Berties Awards Ceremony Sunday at the theater in Spring Garden Township. This year, there was a new addition to the ceremony: Berties Spirit Awards. Nominees were selected by their own cast and crew.

Best Debut Performance: Ava Markel, Fern in "Charlotte's Web"

Best Ensemble Performance, Male: Phil Rooney, Butterfly in "Red vs. the Wolf"

Best Ensemble Performance, Female: Talyn Custer, Duck in "Red vs. the Wolf"

Best Director: Rodd Robertson, "The Spell of Sleeping Beauty"

Best Set Design: Bob McCleary, "Charlotte's Web"

Best Lighting Design: Alex Weinrich, "Charlotte's Web"

Best Costumes: Stephanie Wilt, "The Spell of Sleeping Beauty"
