Give a dog its day at Saturday's Dogs' Day in the Park in New Freedom. Organized by Animal Rescue Inc., the event begins at 9 a.m. on the York County Heritage Rail Trail, where participants can strut their mutt. Registration and pledge gathering is encouraged. The main event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes vendors, demonstrations, raffles, food for pets (and owners) and rescues.
