It is that time of year again when the trees turn colors, the air becomes crisp and the smell of oysters fills the air. On Sunday, the York County Heritage Trust kicks off its 38th annual Oyster Festival at the Agricultural & Industrial Museum, 217 W. Princess St., York. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., attendees can feast on stewed, nude and fried oysters, apple fritters, barbecue sandwiches and many other comfort foods and drinks. Admission is free and food is a la carte. The museum will be filled with living history, music, artisan demonstrations and hands-on activities showcasing York's rich heritage.
