The (Laugh Out Loud) Comedy Explosion Show was organized to bring friends, family and co-
workers together for a night of fun, organizer Darrell Williams said.
Keith Norman, also known as Kleon Da Comedian, will headline the event. Norman, a Baltimore-based comedian, premiered "Bluffing the Movie" at the Autograph Playhouse in Baltimore last weekend and has gained popularity through his YouTube series of the same name.
Norman said he draws inspiration from "real life experiences, family problems, kid problems" and his environment.
He said he is looking forward to bringing his energy to York.
"Hopefully they leave with a headache from laughing so hard," Norman said. "I love making people laugh."
Williams, also known as D-Will The CEO of Springettsbury Township, will host and perform, too. He is friends with Norman and said he is a "very talented guy."
"He's a real hilarious, rapid joke-teller," Williams said.
The other comedians on the bill are Warren Brooks, who has been in comedy for more than 15 years, and Matt Mahattey, who has been in comedy for more than two years. Both are from Maryland.
"Warren is a very punctual, straightforward comic," Williams said. "Matt is a very optimistic comedian; he is a glass half-full comedian."
Williams said he loves bringing joy and happiness to audiences.
"There is a lot of violence and sadness going on around the world," Williams said. "We aim on this night to get away from the pain with great laughter to show."
