Everyone's favorite Great Dane Scooby-Doo and will come to life Saturday in "Scooby-Doo Live! Musical Mysteries" at the Penn State York's Pullo Family Performing Arts Center.

The production, based on the TV franchise that began in 1969 as a Saturday morning cartoon, will feature Scooby and the Mystery Inc. gang - Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma.

In the 80-minute show, the crew hunts down a ghost who haunts an old theater. Don't worry about the supernatural plot scaring your kids. In typical Scooby fashion, slapstick comedy and action outweigh the ghostly undertone.

As Scooby and the gang pursue their quest, they sing "Scooby-Doo, Where are you?" along with "Round Every Corner" and "We're Mystery Inc."

The North American tour has reunited the Australian tour's creative team: writer and director Theresa Borg, composer Craig Bryant and choreographer Katie Ditchburn. This team also worked on "Sesame Street Presents Elmo's World Tour."
