It came as no surprise that Seth MacFarlane, known for his raw and risque humor, took some sharp jabs during his first Oscars-hosting gig. Some of his racy one-liners:
On the brutality of "Django Unchained": "This is the story of a man fighting to get back his woman, who's been subjected to unthinkable violence. Or as Chris Brown and Rihanna call it, a date movie."
On George Clooney's affinity for younger women: "To give you an idea of how young (9-year-old Quvenzhané Wallis) is, it will be 16 years until she's too old for Clooney."
On Daniel Day Lewis' portrayal of Abraham Lincoln: "I would argue that the actor who really got into Lincoln's head was John Wilkes Booth."
On Ben Affleck's appearance: "The first time I saw him with all that dark facial hair, I thought, 'My God, the Kardashians have made the jump to film,'"
On the profanity-laced screenplay from "Django": "I'm told that the screenplay was loosely based on Mel Gibson's voice mails."
