Janet Jackson got married. And we didn't get invited.

Pretty much no one did.

The 46-year-old singer-actress confirmed to "Entertainment Tonight" that she and billionaire beau Wissam Al Mana were married in 2012.

"The rumors regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true," the couple said in a joint statement. "Last year we were married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony."

Jackson tweeted a solo holiday card amid engagement rumors

"Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favorite children's charities," they added. "We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy. With love, Wissam and Janet."

Do you think they really mean that, the "love" part?

This is the third marriage for Jackson, who was married to James DeBarge (1984) and René Elizondo Jr. (from 1991 to 2000). That last marriage was also secret for some time before the media found out.
