Series subscriptions and single tickets for the 2013-14 York Symphony Orchestra season are now on sale.

Just added: Musician and actor Paul Williams will perform with the York Symphony Orchestra during a Jan. 18, 2014, SuperPops concert at the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center, 50 N. George St., York.

Williams has won an Oscar, Golden Globe and Grammy. He is best known for writing songs for Three Dog Night, The Carpenters, Barbra Streisand and Kermit the Frog, including "Rainbow Connection." Williams has recorded with Elvis Presley, Sarah McLachlan, Frank Sinatra, Willie Nelson, REM, Daft Punk and others. He is also the President and Chairman of the Board of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.

Tickets cost $61, $71 and $91. Proceeds will benefit YSO programs including school performances, education programs and community outreach.
