School isn't in session yet, but that doesn't mean area students haven't been hard at work this summer. The Lancaster International Piano Festival started Aug. 11. Its goal was to prepare aspiring concert pianists for careers in the music field. Thirty musicians from the U.S. and abroad participated. Listen to the finale concert 4 p.m. Sunday at the Millersville University's Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St., Lancaster. The event is free and open to the public.
