The York Jewish Community Center hosts the Jewish Film Festival this month at Frank Theatres Queensgate Stadium 13, 2067 Springwood Road, York Township. The event kicks off 3 p.m. Sunday with "A Bottle in the Gaza Sea." The drama is about a Jewish teen who moves from France to Jerusalem. She writes about peace between Israelis and Palestinians and sends the message to sea. Tickets are $9 and available at the York JCC, 2000 Hollywood Drive, York Township, and after 2 p.m. Sunday at the theater. The festival continues Oct. 21 and 28.
