White Rose Thunder will return to York County for its third year Sept. 19 to 21 at the York Expo Center, 334 Carlisle Ave., West Manchester Township. According to a news release, the event will be a week earlier this year to coincide with the Harley-Davidson Open House and York City Bike Night.
The event will feature flat track motorcycle racing, stunt shows, professional bike builders, live music, a motorcycle swap meet, vendors, food and other attractions.
White Rose Thunder will expand its Bike Builders offerings to include Paul Yaffe. He opened his first shop in 1991 and has since garnered awards, built rides for celebrities and made TV appearances, including a spot on the new History Channel show "Biker Battleground Phoenix."
According to a news release, Yaffe will be at the event Sept. 19 and 20. He will sign autographs and participate in the bike parade. Other builders at White Rose Thunder will include Tommy Keefer of Franklin Church Choppers, Vicious Cycles, All Out War Cycles and Hellion Custom Cycles.
