York Fair 2015

The York Fair's annual butter sculpture was revealed Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, in the York Expo Center's Memorial Hall. The 250th York Fair opens Friday, Sept. 11, and the annual butter sculpture this year features the ceremonial transfer of the charter to hold the fair in 1765. The sculpture, designed and created by husband Jim Victor and wife Marie Pelton, consists of 400 pounds of butter that will be recycled, mixed with kitchen grease waste and used to generate energy.
