Where'd the name come from? It has nothing to do with the band . . . It's actually an old movie (title) . . . It doesn't really mean anything. We were desperate to find a name because we needed to send out some demos and press kits.
Who are your influences? My personal influences would be Stone Temple Pilots, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Green Day . . . Vince's influences would be more classic rock, and John is really into punk and metal.
Last few albums you listened to? Yesterday, I actually listened to David Bowie's "Best of Bowie" and the Beatles' "Abbey Road."
Worst song on the radio right now? I'd have to say that Chamillionaire song . . . I think it's called "Ridin' Dirty." (The actual name of the song is "Ridin'.")
Who is your biggest musical guilty pleasure? I'm going to have to go with Kelly Clarkson on that one. I don't admit that to many people. She does very catchy songs, and they're written well as far as song structure.
Plug one other local band: I'm going to go with Negative Space. I started really getting into local music when I turned 21, and they're one of the first bands I saw. They've had different lineups, but with each lineup they seem to get better.
Who would win in a fight: Scott Weiland (of Stone Temple Pilots) or David Bowie? I'm going to go with Weiland because David Bowie is older. But it depends on how high (Weiland) is. I guess it depends on what drugs they're on.
What's the deal with your song "Bitches"? Angry at an ex? That was a song I wrote several years ago. It was one of those songs that wrote itself. I basically wrote it in 10 minutes. It's about relationships written in the male perspective, but it can go either way. It's about when the other person in the relationship is whiny and takes things the wrong way. It's not about an experience I ever had, just observed other relationships. And I'd like to add that I wrote this song way before I met my wife, so it's not about her.
How'd you guys get yourselves on the iTunes store? If you go to tunecore.com, you just sign up and pay a one-time fee . . . like $20, and they give you a certain percentage of what you make (from the store), and it works out pretty well. It's easier for us to sell that on the Internet rather than a CD.
Shoutouts: There's too many people. I'll give a shoutout to Instant Tranzmission because their last show is coming up, and we spent a lot of time playing with those guys and going to each other's shows. And we'll miss them.
