Allegro Winery offers free wine tastings

Allegro Winery will offer free wine tastings as part of its seasonal "From Grape to Glass" event on two upcoming weekends, according to a news release.

The tastings will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on the weekend of Nov. 14 and 15 and on the weekend of Nov. 21 and 22.

The tastings will feature more than 20 wines, including Allegro's new white "Nouveau" wine.

In addition, the event will be held during the Mason Dixon Wine Trail's "Wine Just Off the Vine" weekends, where WJOV ticket holders will be offered a 10 percent discount.

Allegro was founded in 1980 and has since doubled its vineyard size to 12 acres.
