Foo Fighters cancel rest of tour after Paris attacks

Some 12 hours after U2 called off Saturday's planned live HBO show from Paris, the Foo Fightersannounced that they are pulling the plug on the rest of their tour.

"It is with profound sadness and heartfelt concern for everyone in Paris that we have been forced to announce the cancellation of the rest of our tour," the band said in a statement Saturday. "In light of this senseless violence, the closing of borders, and international mourning, we can't continue right now. There is no other way to say it. This is crazy and it sucks. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was hurt or who lost a loved one."

According to Ticketmaster's website, the Foo Fighters were scheduled to play a pair of concerts in Paris on Monday and Tuesday. The move was announced hours before a planned show in Torino, Italy, which borders the French Alps.
