History and the Susquehanna River Basin Region: Harrisburg: With a keen interest in local history, Steve Runkle will discuss the French and Indian War and the chronology of events from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 18 at the Centennial Barn at Fort Hunter Mansion and Park, 5300 North Front St. A discussion of the deadly struggle between dispossessed Native Americans and the region's first European settlers is presented along with an analysis of the reasons for atrocities committed by both sides.
