Mechanicsburg native to compete on CMT show
Mechanicsburg native and bodybuilder Ashley Kemmer will be featured in an episode of the Country Music Television series "Steve Austin's Broken Skull Challenge" at 8 p.m. Jan. 10, according to a news release.
Kemmer, 23, is a former high school softball and soccer "superstar," according to the release, who loves bodybuilding and CrossFit training.
In the show, host Steve Austin brings eight athletes to Broken Skull Ranch until the last competitor standing gets the chance to compete in the "Skullbuster," a difficult obstacle course. The winner takes home $10,000 in cash.
In Sunday's episode, all competitors will be female.
If she wins, Kemmer, who is a sales representative, plans to use the $10,000 for a trip around the world with her boyfriend.
