Lady Antebellum singer coming to Gettysburg

A member of the Grammy award-winning trio Lady Antebellum will head to Gettysburg next month for a solo engagement at the Majestic Theater.

Singer-songwriter Charles Kelley will perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, according to a news release from the theater. The concert will also feature up-and-coming artist Tara Thompson.

Kelley is touring in support of his upcoming solo release, "The Driver." Miranda Lambert, Stevie Nicks and Kelley's brother, Josh Kelley, lent their musical talents for the album, which was produced by Paul Worley.  The nine-track album's debut single of the same title is nominated for a Grammy, according to the news release.

Aside from his success with Lady Antebellum, Kelley has also written songs recorded by country stars Luke Bryan and Darius Rucker.
