The Foundry features Mary Seay and Eddy Gash

CHAMBERSBURG – The Foundry, Chambersburg’s artist cooperative, will feature artwork by Mary Seay and Eddy Gash for its April Artist Exhibit. The exhibit will be on view at The Foundry, 100 S. Main St., throughout the month of April.

Seay and Gash are local visual artists whose passion for art brings energy, social commentary and nostalgia into each of their pieces. Gash’s work uses objective and figurative painting to depict current social climates regarding race and religion. Seay is an abstract painter who creates depth and excitement through layering and non-conforming color choices. The couple is expecting their first child together at the end of March. They live in Shippensburg with their cats.

A Meet the Artists Opening Reception will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, April 1. Refreshments will be served.

Housing retail, exhibit and creative spaces, The Foundry is open Thursdays and Fridays from noon to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Art classes, seminars and other events are held on a regular basis; visit www.FoundryArtsCoop.com or www.facebook.com/FoundryArtistsDowntown for details.
