It's all about music in Hanover-Adams County


The Hanover Symphony Orchestra celebrates 20 years in harmony with its final concert of the season on Sunday. Guests will hear a variety of musical selections, but there is a twist. The second half of the concert features an interactive portion in which the audience helps choose the music. Live from Nashville: Calling all fiddler fans. This choreographed theatrical production combines fiddling, fancy footwork and top-flight vocals. The Time Jumpers: Multi-Grammy-nominated group The Time Jumpers will take the stage 7 p.m. April 9 at the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center, 195 Stock St., Hanover. The group was established in Nashville in 1998 and features 10 masterful musicians. Cherish the Ladies at the Majestic Theater: The Irish-American group, Cherish the Ladies, is celebrating their 30th anniversary with a performance at the Majestic Theater, 25 Carlisle St., Gettysburg 3 p.m. April 3. Come out and give your ears the gift of Celtic music. York County Junior Honors Choir: The York County Junior Honors Choir, composed of 100 select singers in grades seven through nine from various school districts in York County, will perform April 3. "Anne of Green Gables": Delone Catholic High School presents its spring play, "Anne of Green Gables" in the school's old gymnasium at 140 S. Oxford Avenue, McSherrystown. Admission is $7 for adults and $3 for students. Students with a valid ID are admitted free. Taste of the Town: Get ready to eat your heart out at Gettysburg's 15th Taste of the Town.
