Shop a Book Nook

'The Crooners' on stage

Piano and Chamber Music Recital
Spring Garden Township: Students from the York College Division of Music and YCPrep Community Music School will present a recital of music inspired by and evocative of the night at 7:30 p.m. May 5 in DeMeester Recital Hall at York College, 441 Country Club Rd. Harrisburg: Raise money for the Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. May 6 at the State Museum of Pennsylvania, 300 North St. This exciting event will feature over 140 vintners and more than 550 premium wines in a downtown landmark offering a unique backdrop of magnificence and history, as well as private exhibit access for Festival guests. Apple Blossom Festival

York: Don’t miss a Mother’s Day tradition from 12:30 to 6 p.m. May 8 during the Annual Olde York Street Fair, in and around Continental Square. This street fair features more than 100 artisans and food vendors, as well as live entertainment and strolling performers. The Kid's Fun Block also offers rides and games. Fifty percent of all food vendor proceeds will go to support local non-profit organizations. Ticket sales in the Kid’s Fun Block will support York City Special Events.
