This Saturday, Main Street Hanover is hosting a sip-and-stroll event to celebrate local businesses, food, beer and October!
Oktoberfest will display Hanover's German heritage with wine and local brews, and eats from providers such as Snyder's of Hanover, Divino Pizzeria & Grille, Sweet Treats Bakery and Abithat's.
Festival attendees will travel to various establishments downtown where businesses have teamed up with local vendors to offer samples of food, wine, and beer, as well as special deals on in-store merchandise.
Miscreation Brewing Company with pair with Snyders-Lance, offering beer cheese dip made with one of Miscreation's brews and Snyder's of Hanover pretzels made with grains of Miscreation beer.
Treasures Hanover and Thunder Ridge Vineyards will be selling bottled wine and wine slushies and offering wine-by-the-bottle specials and offering deals on Treasures' new fall clothing.
To see more featured stops, visit the MSH Oktoberfest Facebook page.
The event will also feature live music, including Keith Zartman, a local guitar instructor.
All proceeds from Oktoberfest will go toward Main Street Hanover, a nonprofit benefiting businesses and community in Hanover.
For more Oktoberfest spirit, there will be a homebrews competition outside Miscreation Brewing Company in the square from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
With a photo ID, the community can sample up to 20 beers and ciders at the free homebrew event. For more information, visit the Main Street Hanover Facebook page.
