The votes are in!
Throughout October, pet owners have submitted photos of their furry, scaly and spiny pals all dressed up for Halloween. And you've picked your favorites.
We saw dogs dressed in "Star Wars" costumes, cats dressed as pirates and even a pig dressed as a reindeer.
But when the votes were counted, Lola the Pumpkin took first prize. The puppy in the jack-o-lantern costume will take home a $100 gift card to spend at PetSmart.
Honorable mentions include:
- “Let’s talk pawlotics,” an entry by Dog-nald and Paw-llary
- Brian Besting, prisoner in the pet-tentiary
- Luke as Oscar the Grouch
- Puck the Devil, a Peruvian guinea pig who’s ready for Halloween
Everyone who registered to vote for their favorite pet costume will be entered into a random drawing to win a pet lover’s gift basket.
