Live music

Kingsfoil: See one of York’s favorite indie pop bands, Kingsfoil, live at Central Market in downtown York Friday. This show will be the second show of the season for Kable House Presents, an independent concert series in York. Get details here.

Citizen Cope: Rock and soul singer Citizen Cope is bringing an acoustic tour to Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center Sunday. He’ll perform a mix of blues, soul, folk and rock at 7:30 p.m. Get details here.

Party at The Tourist Inn

The Tourist Inn in Hallam is celebrating new changes to its entertainment venue, The Back Room, with a kickoff party Friday and Saturday night. Trivia and free beer samples start at 7 p.m. and live music by local bands Hogmaw, Dr. Slothclaw, Rock Candy, Headcase and Ias Aston & The Missing Piece start at 9 p.m. Get details here.

See a show

“White Christmas”: Friday is opening night for York Little Theatre’s production of the holiday classic, “White Christmas.” The musical tells the story of veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis who follow a duo of singing sisters to a Vermont lodge owned by their former Army commander. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday.  Get details here.

Jim Breuer: Not ready for a Christmas show quite yet? Then, head to Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center for a show that will keep you laughing all night. Comedian and former “Saturday Night Live” cast member Jim Breuer will perform Friday at 7:30 p.m. Get details here.

Wine and dine

The Mason-Dixon Wine Trail’s Wine Just Off The Vine event continues Saturday and Sunday with wine samples, refreshments and an educational experience at 17 Pennsylvania and Maryland wineries, including Moon Dancer Winery, Logan’s View Winery and more in York County.  Several of the wineries have released new holiday spirits, which will also be for sale. Go to the movies

The long-awaited finale to the “Hunger Games” movie franchise is now in theaters. Katniss Everdeen is in for one more fight for her life as District 13 engages in an all-out revolution against the Capitol in “Mockingjay Part 2.”
