Critter Night July 25 teaches safety at Raystown Lake


HUNTINGDON COUNTY >> The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Raystown Lake on July 25 will host its annual 'Critter Night' from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Seven Points Amphitheater.

Visitors will have the opportunities to meet various "critters" while playing safety games. The event is free and will feature information sessions, give-aways, cake and more.

In order to teach children and families how to vacation safely, animated characters in attendance will be Smokey Bear, McGruff the Crime Dog, PFD Panda, Sea Vester and Bobber the Water Safety Dog.

Critter Night is sponsored by The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers along with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the Huntingdon County Sheriff's Department, the Bald Eagle Power Squadron, the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Friends of Raystown Lake.
