Todd Heap heads Dick's Sporting Goods 3-day grand opening in Chambersburg
The Ravens' Ring of Honor great will be in-store from noon to 2 p.m. Aug. 16 to greet new customers during Dick's three-day celebration Aug. 14 to 16 to mark the grand opening of its new local store.
In addition to Heap's appearance, the company will host a Friday-to-Sunday extravaganza featuring product give-aways and demonstrations by industry experts.
Guests in line early will get a chance to open the store's Gift Locker at 7:45 a.m. on both Friday and Saturday, and at 8:45 a.m. Sunday. Also, the first 100 people in line Friday will receive a free Reebok Play Dry T-Shirt, and the first 100 adults in line on both Saturday and Sunday will receive a free Mystery Gift Card ranging in value from $5 to $500 — with one person winning the $500 card each day.
The Chambersburg location will be the retailer's 40th store in the state of Pennsylvania and its 623rd nationwide.
