Celebrity chef Mark Anthony to cook up vegan feast in Waynesboro

WAYNESBORO >> Celebrity Chef Mark Anthony, who has appeared on ABC, NBC, ESPN, appearing regularly on 3ABN worldwide television, and has done his live vegetarian performing arts cooking show in every U.S. state, is coming to Waynesboro this weekend.

He will appear Nov. 1 at 3 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Waynesboro Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1 State Hill Road (Pa. Rt. 997 South).

He calls his "FREE Dinner and A Message" live event "Cooking at its Funniest!" While he is preparing the vegan meal for everyone who comes, with good humor he will speak on such topics as weight loss, lowering cholesterol, and increasing your energy through plant-based healthy nutrition.

Anthony is coming at the request of the Eating for Health Vegetarian Supper Club, which normally meets the first Monday evening of every month (Sept.-June). The Sunday dinner is in lieu of what would normally be held on Monday evening, Nov. 2.

Everyone is welcome to attend. For more information and to register - to ensure there is enough seating and food for all - call 717-765-0441 by Oct. 30. Since a large crowd is expected, it may be wise to carpool with others and come early. The entrance to the hall is at the rear of the building, which includes a ramp and handicap restrooms.

The delicious dinner, the entertainment, and the life-saving information truly are free - Anthony never charged anyone in all the years he's been doing this - but he is happy to accept donations to cover all his many expenses.

Visit his website, ChefMarkAnthony.com and/or his Facebook page or YouTube to learn more about him and about truly good health.
