The Military Wall 

Celebrate Memorial Day and honor current service men and women and past veterans at Grove Family Library's military wall. Residents are also encouraged to bring a picture of a service man or woman in uniform who has served or is currently serving in the military. The event is free and open to the public and will be held at 101 Ragged Edge Road South from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday. Downtown Abbey Tea

Spring is here and that means it's time for tea! Come out and enjoy tea and food catered by A Matter of Taste, raffles and entertainment at the Old Jail courtyard at 175 E. King St. Don't forget to wear your hat! The event costs $25 per person and tickets can be purchased by calling 717-264-1667.

Memorial Day Parades

It's not Memorial Day without a parade and BBQ! Check out these parades happening in the area.

  • Bring your family to the Trinity Fellowship Center, 110 W. Main St., this Saturday for a chicken barbecue and memorial service at Jackson Cemetery.   • Chambersburg will hold its annual Memorial Day parade this Monday from 8:30-11 a.m. The parade starts at Fifth Avenue and will follow Lincoln Way through the square. It's sure to be a fun event for all ages. For more information, visit chambersburg.org.
