Fifth Annual Strawberry Stampede 5K Run

Looking for a way to have some fun while burning some calories? Come bring the family to the Strawberry Stampede and then unwind and see the Strawberry Festival. The walk starts at 8:30 a.m. this Saturday, and the Strawberry Jam Kids Race starts at 9 a.m. across from the courthouse next to The Alexander Financial Group in McConnellsburg; pre-registered packet pickups will be 7-8:15 a.m. Register online at fcmcpa.org, or for more information call Chris Boryan at 717-485-6322 or email him at atcboryan@fcmcpa.org.

Second Saturday

Second Saturday is kicking off for the summer! This Saturday, attendees can see a concert in Chambers Fort Park from 5-8 p.m., featuring the Hello Strangers with opener Soleil. Following the concert, "Inside Out" will be shown as part of the Downtown Summer Movie Series. The event is free and will be held between the first block of North Main Street and the Conococheague Creek. Don't forget your lawn chair and blankets! Cinderella

Come watch Cinderella find her prince charming this Saturday! The Chambersburg Ballet Theatre will perform this fairytale classic at 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at the Capitol Theatre, 159 S. 30th Annual Garden Tour 

Are you wanting to use your green thumb now that spring is here? Make sure to check out the 30th Annual Garden Tour this Sunday from 1-6 p.m. Every year there is something unique about the gardens to inspire attendees to get ideas for their own gardens, and this year's tour is no exception. This year's tour includes six gardens and features two large Koi ponds, waterfalls, wildflowers and dead tree stumps as highlights of the yard. Tickets are available at Plasterer's in Chambersburg, East Meets West, Crider's and Christ  U.M. Church in Shippensburg. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children.
