Pop A Cork

Relax with a cool drink and your feet in the sand at Capitol Theatre's Pop A Cork fundraiser. Listen to some live island music from the Panama Rex Band and the Philly Reggae Band, cool off with an adult beverage from the tiki bar, enjoy a bounty of beachy menu entrees and enter a raffle for your chance to win a trip to Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. The event will be held from 1-7 p.m. rain or shine at 159 S. Main St. Purchase tickets by visiting thecapitoltheatre.org/specialevents or calling 717-263-0202.

Peach Festival

It's not summer without trying some fresh peaches, so pack up the family and head on out to the sixth annual Peach Festival! Peach lovers come from miles around to enjoy pies, cobbler, sundaes and the perennial crowd favorite—peach cream puffs. The event will also feature face painting for kids, live music and other delicious foods including hot dogs, beef barbecue, fries, drinks, funnel cakes and kettle corn. The festival will be held from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Fort Loudon Community Grounds at U.S. 30 and Hawbaker Drive, and admission is free and open to the public.

North Square Farmer's Market

Check out locally-grown produce, meats, eggs, cheese, jams, backed good, flowers, coffee, arts and crafts, gourmet items and more at the North Square Farmer's Market in downtown Chambersburg. In addition, attendees can also browse other items from local artisans and entrepreneurs, or have some fun with the kids at the free kids activities, listen to live music and just visit with the community. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at 50 North Main Street.
