If you like wine, September just might be your month.

Just one week before the Wine in the Woods Festival hits the Hanover area, the Gettysburg Wine & Music Festival will return for its 11th year, featuring hundreds of wines from 25 Pennsylvania wineries, as well as a full schedule of live music.

Guests might recognize several local wineries, like Adams County's Hauser Estate and York County's Moon Dancer, according to the festival website. Dozens of food and craft vendors will also be on site.

Musical entertainment for the two-day festival spans genres, from blues group Bad Influence Band to '70s tribute band Disco Fever. Other performers include country country artist Lindsey Erin, swagger rocker Lovebettie, rock band Schizophonic and '80s tribute band The Reagan Years.

D.J. Matt Claeys will provide music between live performances.

Last year's event attracted 7,000 attendees and supported dozens of local businesses, in addition to the participating wineries, according to the Gettysburg Adams Chamber of Commerce. The festival also raised close to $10,000 for area nonprofits, including Gettysburg Fire Department, Southeastern Adams Volunteer Emergency Services, Battlefield FFA and the Adams County SPCA, as well as Wounded Warrior Project.
