Feel the heat at the Hanover Chili Cook Off
The annual Hanover Chili Cook Off takes place 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. It includes the State Chili Cooking championship, food, brews and children's activities.
Music will be provided by Macy K & The Oven Fresh Hot Delicious, Cledus Snow & The Mother Truckers and The Kelly Bell Band.
Proceeds benefit local nonprofits. Tickets are $10 at the gate, $8.50 in advance at Guthrie Memorial Library, the Hanover borough office or hanoverchilicookoff.com.
The cook off takes place at Good Field Complex, 70 N. Forney Ave., Hanover.

September Invitational Show: This month's exhibit at the Hanover Area Arts Guild shows the work of award-winning artists Bob Kenyon, Ray Hartland and Jerry Gadd. Artist of the month is Anita Mitchell. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. A reception with Kenyon will be 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 12. Everything takes place at the Hanover Area Arts Guild, 32 Carlisle St., Hanover. Admission is free.
