Four things to do this weekend in Hanover-Adams County

It's going to be a busy weekend around Hanover and Adams County. Here's how to make sure you don't miss out.

Immerse yourself in World War II history

History buffs can take part in two World War II living history events this weekend.

The New Oxford Area Historical Society, in cooperation with the Borough of New Oxford, will host a World War II re-enactment between 8 and 11 a.m. on Saturday around the town's center square.

A World War II-era swing dance and show will take place later from 7 to 10 p.m. at the New Oxford Borough Municipal Building at 124 North Peter St. Tickets for the swing dance show are $15.

This weekend is also World War II Weekend at Eisenhower Historic Site.

Food, wine and, maybe, some new home decor. What more could an art lover want?

Sunday from 12 to 4 p.m., Hauser Estate Winery will host Art on the Hill, a free event at their 410 Cashtown Road location in Biglerville.

The event includes an exhibit and sale with more than 20 artists, demonstrations, food from the Ragged Edge, music by Ron Nicodemus and wine. Proceeds benefit the Adams County Arts Council.
