Princesses, superheroes, apple butter and music — it's another event-packed weekend around Hanover and Adams County.

Dress up for a Super Magical Skate

It's time to slip on your dresses or tie on your cape because Magic Elm Skateland is hosting its Super Magical Skate event Saturday.

People will have the opportunity to skate with superheroes, princesses and the Black Rose Rollers roller derby team from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

There will be crafts, face painting and a costume contest.

Admission is $6 for skaters; $3 for non-skaters and free for ages 2 and under.

The event will take place at Magic Elm Skateland, 625 W. Elm Ave., Hanover.

Enjoy sweet treats at the Apple Butter Festival

The free 2015 festival will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cross Keys Village, 2990 Carlisle Pike in Oxford Township. The event will include a car show, hayride and various other displays.
