Get spooked at Kim's Krypt
Start your Halloween season early. This Friday is opening night at Kim's Krypt Haunted Mill in Spring Grove, and doors open at 6 p.m. Be the first to experience all five thrilling horror attractions, plus the brand new side attraction, Dark Despair, which features total darkness. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door, and the first 100 customers receive a free Kim's Krypt Kampout water bottle.
The Wizard of Oz
What better way to dive into the weekend than by watching a classic show? Visit the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. Saturday or 2 p.m. Sunday to watch the wonderful Wizard of Oz. Ticket prices are $19 for adults and $14 for children.
Family fall festival
Fall festivities for the entire family to enjoy, and best of all — free admission! Cross Keys Community Park in New Oxford will host a fall fest from 3 p.m. to dark Saturday. There will be inflatables, children's games, a bake sale, hay rides and pumpkin painting, as well as a pet parade. Finish off the day with a free outdoor movie. Be sure to bring your blankets and chairs to make yourself comfortable.
Wine Tasting on the Hill
Here is an event for the wine lovers out there. Come to 3003 Baltimore Pike from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday to enjoy wine, live music, food, and other vendors. There will be many wineries to choose from and taste; you will be sure to find one you’ll love. Tickets are $15 if purchased in advance, or $20 at the event, which is presented by the West Manheim Township Lions Club and the Pleasant Hill Volunteer Fire Company.
