Red Land LL to host event with Hollywood producers

Red Land Little League players aren’t ready to step out of the spotlight quite yet.

Following a Little League World Series U.S. championship win in August, the team is now preparing to make an announcement involving Hollywood producers at a public event March 23, the team’s media representative Lucy Gnazzo said.

The free event will be held at 7 p.m. at the Grace Pollock Performing Arts Center, 340 N. 21st St., Camp Hill. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Gnazzo said the goal is to recreate the Red Sea that filled Howard J. Lamade Stadium during the championship game in August, but she would not provide further details about the announcement.

The event will include a meet-and-greet and photo opportunity with the players, music, team-autographed memorabilia, free giveaways and more.

The West Shore Pep Band, Red Land cheerleaders, Harrisburg Senators mascot, Camp Hill Challenger baseball team and Hollywood producers will also be in attendance.
