John Mellencamp coming to Hershey this fall
American rocker John Mellencamp will bring his Plain Spoken Tour to the Hershey Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 18.
Tickets range from $49.50 to $122.50 and go on sale April 29 at 717-534-3405, hersheyentertainment.com or ticketmaster.com.
Also known as John Cougar Mellencamp, the Indiana native broke out in 1979 with "I Need A Lover." Other hits followed, including "Small Town," "Lonely Ol' Night," "R.O.C.K. In The U.S.A.," "Paper in Fire" and "Cherry Bomb." Mellencamp's 2014 release, "Plain Spoken," is his 22nd full-length album.
Special guest on the tour is country singer Carlene Carter. The Hershey Theatre is at 15 E. Caracas Ave., Hershey.
