Glen Rock Live Arts Festival returns in September

Live music, mural painting, graffiti art and more are returning to Ruins Hall for Glen Rock's third annual Live Arts Festival in September.

The event is slated for 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12.

The Live Arts Festival was started three years ago as a way to bring life back to an abandoned historic warehouse located off of Water Street in Glen Rock, now known as Ruins Hall, according to a news release.

At the festival, local artists and artisans, including graffiti artist Mas Paz, Adam Stab, Che Love and Richard Best of the Section 1 Project in Baltimore, will do demonstrations and sell their works.

Live music will be performed by Philadelphia-based band Darla, Ashville, N.C.-based band The Screaming J's, Baltimore gypsy jazz band Ultra Faux and local favorite The Cosmic Cowboy Sowing Circle.

Glen Rock Mill Inn, 50 Water St., Glen Rock, will also sell food and beer.

Admission is $10 for adults and free for children under 12. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
