Outdoor concert series in York, Lancaster, Hershey kick off summer
Summer is coming, and with it are local outdoor concert series like the Box Lunch Revue in York, Jazz on the Veranda in Hershey and Brown's Sunday Concert Series in Loganville. Check out these local concerts coming to your area.
Box Lunch Revue
The free concert series kicks off Tuesday, May 5, in downtown York's Cherry Lane and will continue every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. through August. This series will feature both local acts and performers from as far as Arizona. Genres vary from jazz to folk to indie and more. In the event of inclement weather, most performances will be moved indoors near Central Market House. Decked-Out Live
Join a celebration of local wine, craft brews, live music and food at the Vineyard & Brewery at Hershey, 598 Schoolhouse Road, Londonderry Township. Concerts run 7 to 10 p.m. Fridays through September. Guests can pack a picnic or eat made-to-order foods, including Mahi Mahi tacos and porterhouse steaks. Seating is first-come, first-served. Single-admission tickets are $10 and double-admission tickets are $15. Or, purchase a single-admission season pass for $50 or double-admission season pass for $75.

Dover Township Summer Concert Series
Dover Township's concert series kicks off Sunday, May 10 at the Gazebo at Dover Area Community Park, 2481 W. Canal Road, Dover Township, with a rain location of the Carousel Building at Brookside Park, 4054 Fox Run Road. All concerts begin at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Ladew Topiary Gardens Groovin' In the Grass Summer Concert Series
Bring your blankets, chairs, food and non-alcoholic beverages to the gardens at 3535 Jarrettsville Pike, Monkton, Md. for live music on Sunday evenings. Concerts are held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sundays. Admission begins at 5 p.m. Tickets are sold at the door and cost $7 for Ladew members, $15 for non-members, $13 for seniors, $5 for children 2-12 and free for children under 2. Market Square Concerts Summermusic 2015
The annual three-concert chamber music festival in Harrisburg will feature music by composers, including Schubert, Schumann, Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, Brahms and Schoenberg. The series will also feature musicians from the U.S,, Taiwan, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, United Kingdom and Australia. Tickets are $35 for single tickets, $30 for seniors, $5 for college students, free for students K-12 and $10 for one accompanying adult. Summer Friday Nite Unwinds
Bring a chair, blanket, cooler and some friends and hang out by the river for live, local music at 2092 Long Level Road, Wrightsville. The series runs every other Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. June 12 to Sept. 18. Shank's Mare's Lock 2 Café will offer dinner specials for each concert, and you can call ahead to have an Unwind Cheese & Snack Plate ready when you arrive. The event is BYOB. Tickets are not required, but tips are accepted.

Jazz, R&B, top 40 and classic rock musicians are headed to Lincoln Park, Parkway Boulevard and Roosevelt Avenue, York, this summer.
