ArtCycle — A Sculpture Exhibit:
Hershey: Check out ordinary materials transformed into extraordinary art each day during garden hours through October 31 at Hershey Gardens, 170 Hotel Road. ArtCycle is a celebration of the transformation from old to new. Using a variety of discarded items, four local artists have created sculptures ranging in size and style. Campus Consciousness Tour featuring Nate Ruess:
Spring Garden Township: Nate Ruess, singer/songwriter and leader of the Grammy award winning band Fun, will perform during the Campus Consciousness Tour at 7:30 p.m. September 22 at the Pullo Center, 1031 Edgecomb Avenue. Archaeological Excavation:
Harrisburg: See archaeologists unearth prehistory and history from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through October 2 at Fort Hunter Mansion and Park, 5300 North Front Street. For the tenth season, Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission staff will search for evidence of the 1750s French and Indian War fort. Harley-Davidson Open House:
Springettsbury Township: Harley-Davidson York Vehicle Operations will host their annual Open House from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. September 24 through 26 at the Harley-Davidson plant, 1425 Eden Road. The event will feature local dealer tents, traditional self-guided tours, 2016 motorcycle demo rides, food vendors, a H.O.G. Pin Stop, live entertainment and more.
