Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant 50th Anniversary Tour: Gettysburg: Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Alice's Restaurant, the hit song and record that launched Guthrie's career at 7:30 p.m. September 29 at the Majestic Theater, 25 Carlisle Street. Alice's Restaurant helped foster a new political commitment among his generation, and seemed to sum up all the sentiments of the 1960s counterculture. Tickets are $55, $60 and $65. York County 50-Plus Expo: West Manchester Township: Baby boomers, seniors, their families and caregivers will find timely information for living a happy, healthy and productive life from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the York Expo Center, 334 Carlisle Avenue. "The Fantasticks" on stage: Boiling Springs: Enjoy a new production of the world's longest-running musical, "The Fantasticks," with showtimes through October 4 at Allenberry Playhouse, 1559 Boiling Springs Road. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes: York: Men are invited to walk a mile in her shoes from 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 2 at L.S.C. Design, 320 N. George Street. The walk and Kick Off Your Heels after party are designed to bring awareness to gender relations and men's sexualized violence against women. Erin Rae concert: York: Listen to one of the fresh new voices out of Nashville, Erin Rae, at Sign of the Wagon, 154 E. Philadelphia St. this weekend. She's joined by joined by Dominic Billett (Toy Soldiers), and Jerry Bernhardt (Bernhardt Family Band). Doors open at 7 p.m. The show is at 8 p.m. Tickets are a minimum donation of $10. Annual Women's Show: West Manchester Township: Enjoy a girlfriends' day out from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. October 3 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. October 4 at Memorial Hall at the York Expo Center, 334 Carlisle Avenue. First Sundays Open Mic: Glen Rock: Come out to show your talents at an extremely popular open mic session hosted by Sue Wachter from 2 to 6 p.m. October 4 at the Glen Rock Mill Inn, 50 Water Street.
