100th Dillsburg Farmers Fair kicks continues this weekend

Brush the dust off those gourds and bring 'em on down to the fair.

The 100th annual Dillsburg Farmers' Fair started Monday at Northern High School.

Opening remarks and the crowning of the Senior King and Queen were at 6 p.m. in the school's auditorium, 653 S. Baltimore St., Dillsburg.

The fair continues through the week with games, foods (food galore!) and tons of scrumptious sounding contests including the Whoopie Pie Contest and Homemade Ice Cream Churn-Off.

Our mouths are already watering.

And last but certainly not least, don't forget about perfecting your Halloween costume before The Fantastic Parade, which is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17. For a full listing of the special events, visit the community page.

Admission to the Fair Queen Pageant is $5 for adults and $3 for students; children under 12 are admitted for free but must be accompanied by an adult.
