FlipSidePA Panel event picks for this weekend

Each week, some York County locals share what they are doing this weekend. Some favor art, theater, craft beer, wine or music. Some simply like finding something different to do each week. Whatever your interest, see what they're up to this week in October - it might help you plan your Friday or Saturday night.

Kelley Gibson (cheerleader for local arts): Friday, I'm excited to be attending the Creative York Awards at The Bond to celebrate the people and organizations that nurture imagination, creativity and innovation in our community.

JJ Sheffer (music junkie): Brass Monkeys, a fantastic Beastie Boys tribute group, are playing the Chameleon. They've got two hours' worth of material and five costume changes. They span the B-Boys' entire discography.

Vince Moley (sports fan): I'm heading down to Baltimore Saturday for the Penn State vs Maryland football game.

Satoko Berg (craft lady): We are going to Cherry Crest Farm this weekend for fall fun!

Todd Fogdall (new guy in town): I can't wait to see the magic of Dr. Seuss come alive on the DreamWrights stage in "Seussical the Musical." It closes this weekend!

Lyn Bergdoll (theater enthusiast): I'll be at the traditional Halloween Parade in York this weekend. With all of the bands, twirlers, costumes and floats, there really is something for everyone.
