Happy Halloween! Here are eight ways to celebrate in York County from the Central Market Pumpkin Fest to a Monster Bash Murder Mystery.

Glen Rocktoberfest

This music, brews and food festival was rescheduled from Oct. 3 to this Saturday. But that means that the party can now have a Halloween theme. Festival-goers are encouraged to wear their costumes and participate in a costume contest, among other activities. Get details here.

Central Market Pumpkin Fest

This Halloween festival is perfect for the little ones. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., guests can participate in pumpkin decorating, children’s crafts and games and trick-or-treating at Central Market. Market vendor specials will also be available. Costumes are encouraged. Get details here.

Monster’s Bash Murder Mystery

Here's your chance to dress in spooky costumes and spend an evening with monsters like Dracula and Frankenstein at Escape Games Live's latest Halloween-themed murder mystery. During the party, you'll look for clues and interact with other guests to solve a suspicious murder. Get details here.

Dracula

This weekend is your last chance to get up close and personal with Dracula in the intimate setting of York Little Theatre's Bon Ton Studio. Watch as Professor Van Helsing hunts down evil Count Dracula in this play, filled with special effects, spooky music and plenty of surprises. Get details here.

Scream into History

Expect to encounter a few creeps, ghouls and plenty of scares on this haunted train ride to Taylor Hill Friday and Saturday at Steam Into History in New Freedom. Costumes are encouraged. Get details here.

Halloween ComicFest

Free Comic Book Day is back, but this time it's Halloween edition. That means comic book-style trick-or-treating. Stop by Comic Store West or Martin Library on Halloween in costume and you'll receive a free comic book. Get details here.

Flavors of York
