Greater York Antiques Show

In case you haven't heard, now is a good time to go antiquing, as the price of antiques is about half what it was 10 years ago, according to the owner of Center Square Antiques in New Oxford. And the Greater York Antiques Show is a great place to do it. There, you'll find a wide variety of antiques — from jewelry and grandfather clocks to folk art and coins — from 86 dealers Friday and Saturday. Get details here.

Grab lunch at The First Post

According to our food writer, there is one reason, above all, to visit The First Post: the food, which he says is "spectacular." You'll find items like grilled octopus and shrimp tempura on the menu, as well as a variety of meats, seafood and sandwiches. And starting this week, you can now try them all for lunch.
