FlipSide Panel York picks for this weekend

Kara Gonzales: I am going to Frank Theatres to see the "Hunger Games" premier this Thursday night.

Carol Oldenburg: This Sunday I will be going to the opening of the York Art Association 45th Annual Juried Show. It will be interesting to see what pieces the juror, Robert Mintz, Chief Curator of the Walters Art Museum, chooses as this years winners.

John Bobby: On Thursday I'll be going to the Strand Capital to see the Bollywood Masala Orchestra and Dancers of India. The show starts at 7, and tickets are available at the Strand-Capitol website. On Saturday, I'll be going to the YRK Magazine Holiday Gift Guide Launch Party at Central Market from 12-2. There will be giveaways, kids crafts, live music and more. Details here.

JJ Sheffer: I'm getting locked in a room at Escape Games Live! on Sunday. I have a small group of friends that does this together, and it's so much fun. You go into a themed room and solve clues to get back out. This will be our third visit. We're planning to check out a similar attraction in Lancaster in December.

Lyn Bergdoll: This Sunday I am really looking forward to hearing the Senior Honors Choir perform with the York Youth Symphony at the Pullo Center at 4 p.m. Details here.

Mary Yeaple: This weekend, I am visiting a few more wineries on the Wine Just Off The Vine tour. It was great fun yesterday and I am so glad there are two weekends to participate.

Kelley Gibson: On Friday night, I’ll be taking my little padawans to the Lancaster Science Factory to see the Capital City Jedi Knights perform a lightsaber battle to support the Extraordinary Give! We’ll keep the science going on Saturday at the York County Heritage Trust Family Day, focusing on fun science and history experiments from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
