Springettsbury Township: Come out for a crisp, mid-holiday stroll through the winter woods to search for gifts from Mother Nature from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 29 at Rocky Ridge County Park, 400 Deininger Rd. Noon Year's Eve Celebration
Harrisburg: Young children and their families are invited to welcome the new year from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 30 at the State Museum of PA, 300 North St. Families can also take in a seasonal planetarium show, make a craft, enjoy a snack, dance, and listen to storytime.
