FlipSide Panel picks for NYE weekend

Each week, some York County locals share what they are doing this weekend. Some favor art, theater, craft beer, wine or music. Some simply like finding something different to do each week. Whatever your interest, see what they're up to this New Year's weekend - it might help you plan your Friday or Saturday night.

Rita Whitney: I plan to make my way over to see "Rocky Horror Picture Show" at the Strand on Thursday. It's an interactive showing with a pre-party and costume contest, what could be better?!

Also seeing "Rocky Horror" - John Bobby: On New Year's Eve I'll be seeing the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Strand-Capitol. As the movie plays onscreen, live performers also play the film's characters. The show starts at 10 p.m., and tickets are $20.

Carol Oldenburg: My weekend celebrations include First Friday and New Year's parties with friends. Other than that I will be in my studio starting 2016 with fresh creative eyes.

Dawn States: Finding something vintage and fancy from Get Proper Vintage to wear to the New Years Eve festivities with Homespun!

Mary Yeaple: On Friday, I'm heading downtown for First Friday, right after I finish watching the Rose Parade and Mummers Parade on TV (my annual Jan. 1 tradition).
